If you travel to or from Piedmont via Varese or Como, there are freeway sections (A36, A59, A60) which are chargeable, and the fee is automatically charged via Telepass. For non-Telepass users, this must be paid on the corresponding app or website within 15 days, otherwise steep fees will be charged
